What's ZenArt

To define Zen in the arts is very hard. Strictly speaking, a Zen painting would be an empty sheet and a piece of music would be the performance of silence.
The artist finds that hard, too, as he wants to communicate. So, we are not showing you any Zen art, but works of art in the sense of Zen. That means a kind of art that communicates Zen by means of form, colour and content, a minimalistical and essential one, the best-known image being the zen circle.

Was ist ZENART

Zen in der Kunst zu definieren, ist sehr schwierig. Genau genommen ist Malerei im Zen ein leeres Blatt und in der Musik die Aufführung von Stille.
Dieses gestaltet sich für den Künstler jedoch sehr schwierig, da Kunst von der Mitteilung lebt.
Wir wollen darum auch keine Zenkunst zeigen, sondern Kunst im Sinne von Zen. Das heisst, Kunst , die durch Form, Farbe und Inhalt Zen vermittelt, ausstrahlt, also minimalistische und essentielle Darstellung ist. Die wohl bekannteste ist der Zenkreis.
